Drum Lessons w/ Stephen Morabito (Farmingdale, NY)
I offer drum kit and percussion lessons applicable to jazz, rock, latin, pop, and other musical genres in my home studio located in Farmingdale Village, NY on Long Island. Lessons are tailored to the age, level, and goals of each student.
Lessons can be scheduled weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly. Children ages 6 to 9 must be accompanied by an adult (parents are always welcome to attend their child’s lessons).
Please contact me with your goals, experience and any questions you may have. I am passionate about teaching the art of the drum kit and percussion and I hope to talk with you soon!
Corporate, Organizational, and Team Building Drumming Workshops
Working with your organization’s HR and/or staff training teams, we can customize the goals and desired outcomes of each worshop utilizing an instructional methodology called “Dialogue Education.” It is an approach that recognizes the rich resource of knowledge that learners bring into each learning opportunity (see Jane Vella, et. al.).
Each session is participatory so that participants become motivated to achieve shared and measureable learning objectives. Depending on your organization’s needs, lesson plans can be constructed to fit three-hour to three-day formats. Typical participant outcomes may include:
- Feeling a sense of community.
- Learning about peers and one’s self.
- Being responsibly spontaneous.
- Expressing individual creativity.
- Leading small groups.
- Cooperating in group tasks and projects.
- Performing with and for peers.
- Evaluating success.
- Providing constructive feedback to peers.
